COURSE OVERVIEW & DESCRIPTION

The qualification is designed to ensure specialist competence in all the discipline related to film and television, including camera, lighting, vision mixing, editing, recording, sound and captioning competence, with the elective component allowing for this specialization. Although qualifying learners are not able to make creative choices, they are capable for working under direction, and to specification, making suggestions to that dose creative / decision making business powers

Organizing and managing information about film or television production activites according to specified requirements.

Determining film or television resource requirements for specific production processes.

Planning film or television production process as against given quality requirements>

Assessing film ou television production processes as directed within an area of specialization

Controlling film or television operations according to specified business principles.

Grade 12 or NQF Level 4 of the Further Education and Training Band

English Language (Spoken & Written)

Physical Science at NQF Level 4

Computer literacy at NQF level 3

Students may further study for national Diploma related fields at an accredited institution of higher Education. Admission to further your studies at a different institution remains the prerogative of institution and its academic council.
