COURSE OVERVIEW & DESCRIPTION
Motion film and sound Academy offers a two year certificate course in Clothing Production, aimed at the creative individual with a flair for fashion and an interest in the design and construction of a variety of garments.
The emphasis lies on the creative and technical skills of design, patternmaking and sewing in order to send innovative, competent and skilled individuals into the fashion industry
After obtaining the Clothing Production N6-certificate and 18 months of relevant practical experience in industry, the students may apply for a National 3-year diploma.
- a National Certificate N3: Clothing Production; or
- a National Senior Certificate: Clothing Production; or
- a Senior Certificate and a National Introductory Certificate: Clothing Production; or
- a Senior Certificate with Needlework and Clothing HG/SG;or
- an equivalent qualification.
